Our conference center in Tautenhain convinces by its central location in the heart of Thuringia, only 30 km away from Jena.
The location in the middle of the nature landscape with marvelous view over the Thuringian `Holzland` communicates a feeling of relaxation already on arrival.
In our conference center you will find a modern equipped and air-conditioned auditorium with space for 40 persons. It is perfectly suitable for your scientific events, trainings, meetings and symposium.
The 96 m² area extends over a width of 12 m and a room depth of 8 m and has all over window fronts on two sides of the room for plenty daylight as well as direct access to the roof terrace.
The powerful daylight-compatible video project installation makes professional presentations possible. The theatre seating with padded folding chairs makes the conference pleasant. Each table in the auditorium has power supply e.g. for grid operation of notebooks. Adjacent to the auditorium is a dining room for the provision from caterings.
We offer another conference room for up to 35 persons. This 63 m² big room (7m wide and 9 m long) has also two all over window fronts for plenty daylight and direct access to the roof terrace.
The seating and the flexible conference table system can be set up individually. This enables us to provide you with a variety of set-ups for your event, which allow many variations from standard seating arrangements to current event methods.
For both conference rooms you can use the spacious 165 m² all-around roof terrace with partial canopy.
From here you have a magnificent panoramic view over the village of Tautenhain and the Thuringian `Holzland`. The terrace offers numerous opportunities to move group work, interaction and team games outside.
The built-in LED lighting with its diverse setting options conjures up a special atmosphere in the evening hours as a backdrop for lively discussions to conclude the day together.
In the historic hotel and restaurant "Zur Kanone", which is well known far beyond Thuringia, you can find overnight accommodations in a comfortable proximity in only 2 walking minutes. There you also have the opportunity to enjoy the typical Thuringian dishes or to relax in the cannon garden.
